Promoted to Glory: Major Peggy Mullins

Major Peggy Kiper Mullins, 72, was Promoted to Glory on Thursday, Jan. 20, 2022 after a lingering illness. Major Mullins was preceded in death by her parents, James H. and Peggy Chamberlain Kiper of Oklahoma, husband, Major Jerry L. Mullins, Sr. of Bristol, Tenn., son, Jeremiah Mullins of Atlanta, Ga., and sister, Sherrye Kiper of Oklahoma.

She is survived by her daughter KarolAnn Willis; grandchildren, Elizabeth Howard Greenlee and Luke Willis; daughter-in-law, Emily Mullins; and son-in-law, Chuck Willis of Bristol and brothers James H., Jr. and Nelia Kiper of Okla., Frank A and Donna Kiper of Okla., Reverand Warren A. and Louise Kiper of Norman, Okla., Willard E. and Christine Kiper of Pampa, Tex., Lewis (Jack) and Juanita Kiper of Huber Heights, Ohio, Douglas L and Myrna Kiper of Tex.; Ricky R. Kiper of St. Louis; numerous nieces and nephews and many many friends.

Major Mullins served God for 34 years as a minister and shepherd for The Salvation Army. Often, she was heard to utter “I have a burden for those people.”
