Memphis Kicks off Kettles with Battle of the Bells

The 3rd annual Battle of the Bells fundraiser was held in Memphis Saturday November 19. Sixteen artists competed, playing original songs that were judged by musical professionals and audience members for the opportunity to perform at the New Year's Eve Guitar Drop at the Memphis Hard Rock Café.

Since beginning in 2014, Battle of the Bells has served as the annual kettle kickoff event, raising funds and brand awareness in the community. Between each act, information was provided about how donations made to The Salvation Army impact the entire community by funding programs that help support those in need throughout the year.

200 people attended the show with the ultimate goal of raising awareness and increasing financial support for the local annual Red Kettle Campaign, with special emphasis going towards the MobileCause Red Kettle. This new platform for giving has raised more than $1,600 since its release on November 7.
