The Tampa Area Command Corps is looking for an experienced Music professional to join their team. The Corps Music Director position Coordinates and plans music program for the Corps; teaches music concepts and leads band practice so that musical performances during Corps worship services and other programs are enjoyable and Christ-centered; ensures that all music instruments and the music library are properly maintained and secured; administers all youth music discipleship programs, directs a summer music and arts program, informs the Officer in Charge of the progress of or of any problems in the music programs; actively promotes the Army’s music programs in the public arena. The Ft. Walton Beach is looking for an individual who subscribes to, adheres to, and shares the Doctrines, Mission, and Positions of The Salvation Army Serves as an evangelist to the community and constituency of the Corps; develops and leads worship services and ministerial programs; provides spiritual guidance and leadership to the same.
