Weekend Reads

It’s almost the weekend! Can you believe that in just a few days we’ll be celebrating Palm Sunday? Thanks for stopping by during what we know is a busy time of year.

Next week, we’ll have posts from some very special guest writers, a new listicle, and more featured stories on what’s going on around the territory.

In the meantime, here are a few stories we thought you might be interested in:

The story of St. Patrick who  returned to the place where he had found so much pain and rejection with a message of hope, redemption, and grace.

Our EDS teams are continuing to serve those affected by the flooding in Louisiana and Mississippi.

Did you hear about the woman who runs her own Etsy shop specializing in children’s clothing out of one of our shelters? Read her story here.

And finally,

"No woman should have to beg for a tampon," Major Colin Bradshaw said in an interview with Buzzfeed this week about the need for free sanitary products at homeless shelters and soup kitchens.
