The 62 cadets and auxiliary captains of the Messengers of Light session were commissioned and ordained by Commissioners Don and Debi Bell in a ceremony held at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center (CEPAC) in Atlanta, Sunday June 5.

Session speaker Lieutenant Chris Doborwicz said in a powerful address to the session and territory on Sunday afternoon, “this is a showcase of God's grace and power in the lives of 62 people.” He called on his sessionmates to remember this special day when times are tough and to stay true to their calling as they spread out throughout the territory to join the ranks of officers serving in the field.

“This is why we are here," he said. "This is why it is time to go. It's time to invade the battlefield."
