Chattanooga, TN – The Salvation Army says a big “Thank You” to an anonymous donor, also referred to as the “Secret Santa,” for donating 48 one hundred dollar bills in the red kettle outside the K-Mart located on Battlefield Parkway in Fort Oglethorpe, GA, yesterday December 4th. Major Algerome Newsome, The Salvation Army Area Commander, states, “This donor is so generous and is certainly “Being A Shield” by donating and joining The Salvation Army in “Doing the Most Good! What a blessing to so many this Christmas!”
The Salvation Army Angel Tree Program Deadline was extended to Sunday, December 9. With only four days left, there are still 651 Angels to be adopted and many more who have been adopted that need their gifts returned.
