Gainesville, GA (December 4, 2012) – Over 27 hours in, Lt. Matt Cunningham, Salvation Army Corps Officer, is still going strong, camped out on the roof of Slack Auto Parts. He will be staying here until $10,000 is raised.
“I am here to raise awareness that our neighbors are in need and to give a voice to the voiceless,” says Lt. Cunningham. “Last year we provided 9,027 warm safe nights of shelter, an increase of 26% from the previous year. In order to keep providing for these needs and give a hand up, we need the support of the community.”
