Cadet Spotlight- Cadets Stephan & Ashlee Wildish

Cadets Wildish

Q & As for Ambassadors of Holiness

Cadet Ashlee Wildish- from Harrisonburg, Virginia

What one thing do you think from your EBC training will be a practical go-to once you are in the field? My resource notebook filled with all kinds of program helps!

If one word could sum up your last two years, what would it be?

 Life-Changing

In three words, describe how you are feeling about the future?

 Anxious, Excited, Humbled

Do you have kids? What do you think your time at EBC has helped them learn? Yes! I have 1 daugher. Her name is Audrey, and she is 1 year old. Because she is young, I’m not sure she has learned much. However, she has had to learn to be open to new people and to be sociable which will help as we go from corps to corps. I know the EBC has helped me to learn how to manage my work and family life together!

Name one or two character qualities you admire in your session mates.

Sensitivity to the Holy Spirit, Good humor

Picture yourself talking to a candidate for officership five years from now. What would you tell them?

If the Lord is calling, say “yes”! He will take care of everything along the way!

What one ministry experience that you’ve had in the last two years will you take with you in the future, and why? What did you learn? My ministry experience on Spring Missions in my second year in Kingston, Jamaica is definitely the highlight of my training. From this, I will take the following lessons into my officership: love my people unconditionally as my Lord loves me, step back and allow others to take the lead, and be flexible so that the Holy Spirit can do His work!

Yes, people skills and love.

Name one or two character qualities you admire in your session mates.

Spiritually lead by the Holy Spirit. For being sensitive to other peoples thoughts and feelings. Being a Pastor to each other.

Training will be a great experience, I have enjoyed it, but it will not always be a jog in the park. There will be tough times and good times, but when it gets tough not to pack your bags and leave, but to be ask the Lord to give you strength and courage and wisdom in the two years that they will be in training. When there are good times cherish them because the friends that you make and the moments that are made they will be with you always. Remember the good times when you are out on the field.

What one ministry experience that you’ve had in the last two years will you take with you in the future, and why? What did you learn?

Evangelizing, and not to be afraid to talk to people when they are strangers to me. To be a pastor to people and to love them no matte what because Jesus loved them first.
